St Martin’s OSHC, Davidson

Welcome

We have a passionate team of educators who provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment where each child is respected as an individual and allowed to develop their own interests and talents.

We realise that children come with their own little personalities, habits and quirks that make them who they are. We are not here to create structured class lessons for your children because they do enough of that in school. We are here to help them have fun! By having fun and enjoying their time with us, they’ll be more confident to try new things. We help develop the children socially and teach them skills they will need throughout their life, such as cooking and problem solving.

OUR SERVICE

Our Davidson OSHC is located on the school grounds of St Martin’s Catholic Primary School. We provide:

  • Before school care: 7.00am to 9.00am
  • After school care: 2.30pm to 6.00pm

Our current program includes activities such as Zumba, creative arts, cooking, story telling, team work games, obstacle courses, construction, kinetic sand, puzzles and board games.

Twice a week we offer help with homework but we cannot force children to complete homework as it is not a core part of our program. If a child wishes to complete homework on any other day they are more than welcome to do so.

Food

We provide the following:

  • Before school care: breakfast buffet consisting of cereal and toast or juice or milo. Occasionally we may have a special feature breakfast.
  • After school care: afternoon tea which consists of a feature dish such as nachos, macaroni cheese or spaghetti as well as sandwiches and a large fruit platter.

We take food intolerances and allergies very seriously and have a strict ‘no nut policy’ due to anaphylaxis. This means no food can be bought into the service.

Our menu is primarily vegetarian but we do occasionally have meat products and these are usually during special occasions only. If you require any specific substitutions or your child has any intolerances or allergies, simply let us know and we are more than happy to accommodate you.
