Meet Klarissa from Wahroonga
My name is Klarissa. You’ll find my Family Day Care centre in St Clair.
I have two primary school aged children of my own, Rafaello and Sharaella. I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
I provide care five days per week from 7.00am to 5.45pm.
Before running my own family day care business, I worked as a Community Care Worker for Anglicare and as a Community Care Worker for an Aged, Disability & Home Care Service.
I have a fabulous outdoor space. It is big enough for the children to play games, explore the natural environment and enjoy endless adventures. It gives them the freedom to further develop their gross motor skills, creativity and sense of wonder.
I do my best to provide a high-quality education and care environment in a warm family setting.
I set up different experiences based on the children’s interests. I provide a range of natural, recycled and constructed toys for the children. This is to enhance and nurture all aspects of their development and caters for the different age groups in my care.
I provide a variety of activities like painting, drawing, playdough, slime, water play, dirt play, watering the garden, playing musical instruments, stories, singing and dancing and more.
