Meet Emma from Hornsby
My name is Emma. You’ll find my Family Day Care centre in Hornsby.
I have been an educator since 1993.
I completed my Certificate III in Children’s Services in 2010. I then went on to finish my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care in 2017.
I chose to work in family day care because I wanted my children to interact and socialise with others. Family day care allowed me to be at home with my own children while pursuing a career I enjoyed. I cherish the relationships I build with both the children and their families.
I believe the first few years of a child’s life are the most important and formative years. It is important to enhance young children’s feelings of self-worth, to promote confidence and belief in their own abilities.
