Flexible respite aims to support and maintain care relationships between carers and clients, through providing good quality respite care for frail older people so that carers can take a break.
What could this look like?
- Transport to and from appointments / social events / activities
- In-home support with meals
- General everyday duties around the home
- Support with shopping
- Someone to talk to and laugh with
The typical process of accessing our flexible respite service is by receiving an in-home assessment arranged through My Aged Care and discussing your needs with them. This process can take several weeks. You can contact them on 1800 931 299.
