Following a brief career in IT, Tim has acquired 16 years’ experience in executive leadership positions across the Child and Family, Disability, Aged Care, and Community Housing Sectors. For 13 of these years, Tim served as CEO of LiveBetter and led the organisation through a period of significant change and growth. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science, Master of Business Administration, Master of Social Change and Development and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Senior Manager People & Culture
Romaine has worked with CatholicCare for over 14 years. Romaine has been Executive Manager, People & Culture since August 2016. Prior to this she served CatholicCare as Manager, Work Health & Safety. Romaine has a Bachelor of Science with an Honours degree in Psychology as well as post-graduate qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and Safety Science. She has worked in people and culture teams across a variety of financial institutions, government, manufacturing and not-for-profits. Romaine has a high level of experience in quality systems, HR and industrial relations, auditing, training, investigations, change management, safeguarding, workplace wellbeing initiatives, injury management, and workers compensation management.
Chief Financial Officer
Dale has over 30 years of experience in various CFO and senior finance positions with extensive experience in the media, food and beverage and industrial manufacturing industries. Prior to this role he was CFO for Stuff NZ Limited, the NZ subsidiary of the former Fairfax Media Limited. He was a former Group Treasurer of Fairfax Media. He has extensive experience in business transformation leading a major business transformation project. He is currently a director of a large not for profit industry superannuation fund and was a former Chair of the Fairfax Foundation, a not for profit entity. Dale holds a Bachelor of Economics from University of Adelaide.
General Manager, Children’s Services & Disability Futures
Monique holds a Masters in Special Education and a Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in both not-for-profit and corporate sectors in Australia and worked internationally to establish best practice curriculum and services. Monique has worked on the front line of ECE education, managed both small and multi-site operations and advocates for quality, inclusive practice and universal access to quality programs and services for all children and families. Monique has a high level of experience in implementation and compliance of government and sector requirements in early childhood and NDIS supported services, child protection and safeguarding, program development and workplace practices.
General Manager, Permanency Support Program
Sean has over 15 years experience in the Child & Family Sector, holding senior operational and policy positions for non-government human services organisations across metropolitan, rural and remote areas of Australia. He began his working life with youth at risk and has dedicated his career to the care and support of children and young people in crisis, the reunification of broken families and the support of foster carers. With qualifications in Social Health (Child and Family) and Financial Services, Sean’s strengths are in both building relationships across stakeholder networks in the interests of those in need, and developing business processes to support the business to achieve quality outcomes for the clients we serve.
General Manager, Clinical Services
Ariana holds 20 years of government, not-for-profit and private sector experience in areas including disability, rehabilitation, drug and alcohol, residential and outreach care environments. Having completed work in direct care, operational management and therapeutic and governance framework design, Ariana is a Registered Psychologist and AHPRA approved supervisor, with a Masters in Business, and Australian Institute of Company Director training. Passionately committed to early intervention and trauma integration approaches, Ariana has a strong history of building teams and systems that allow ease of access for people wanting and seeking allied health supports to improve their quality of life and is a steadfast believer that training and skills sharing allows us all to learn and grow towards better outcomes as individuals and as a sector.
Manager, Central Coast Family Centre
Kim has worked for CatholicCare for 10 years, progressing into the Family Centre Manager position around 3 years ago. In this time she has increased CatholicCare’s profile on the Central Coast with 4 new services. Kim currently manages 13 programs, 44 staff and approximately 80 volunteers. She has worked in the Community Service sector for the past 27 years across women’s refuges, emergency relief and with NSW Police as a specialist Domestic & Family Violence worker. Kim has extensive experience across numerous industries and in family run businesses. She has been awarded several Policing and NSW Government awards for dedicated services to families affected by domestic and family violence.
Manager, Naremburn & Northern Beaches Family Centres
Nicci has a Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling) and a Diploma in Human Resource Consulting and has experience in both the corporate and not-for- profit sectors. Nicci has been with CatholicCare for 5 years holding a number of roles across the Family Centre business unit. She is committed to working with families and has demonstrated her competence and talent in a range of roles both as practitioner and Manager. Prior to her work with CatholicCare, Nicci had a number of management roles in the private sector both in Australia and overseas leading and developing teams.
Manager, Waitara Family Centre
Angela has worked in the welfare sector in both UK and Australia for 19 years. She holds a BA Social Welfare, Dip Counselling and Family Therapy, Dip Early Childhood Studies and Cert Health and Social Care. Angela has previously worked across casework disciplines in early intervention and child protection including 7 years within the Homebuilders © Intensive Family Preservation model. Angela manages Waitara Family Centre and provides leadership for our Child and Family, Counselling, Homelessness, Domestic Violence and Mediation teams. She has a strong focus on providing quality and evidenced based interventions.
Communications & Engagement Manager
A meticulous marketer with 20+ years of experience across varied industries. My role here supports the mission, vision, values and strategic direction of CatholicCare through meaningful, measurable and sustainable communications and other related activities. The position exists to raise the overall profile of the agency, and to build positive relationships both internally and externally via broad community engagement. I am responsible for a wide range of communication activities with lead generation and brand awareness key.
